Decorative PVC Ceiling Cladding
Ceiling Cladding is something that is becoming more and more popular of late, and indeed it can cover over a multitude of sins - old flaking paint, filler patches, holes or unsightly stains that seem to show through however much you paint over them, etc, etc.
Ceiling cladding is decorative PVC panels similar to that used for walls, but generally comes in somewhat plainer, more understated styles that better suit a ceiling. Unlike painted ceilings or Artex ceilings that will need repainting from time to time, once in place, PVC ceiling cladding is maintenance free and can be simply wiped down with a warm soapy cloth if ever needs be.
In the grand scheme of things, ceiling cladding need not be overly expensive, and (particularly in a small bathroom) for the relatively small extra cost it can add a really nice finishing touch to your newly refurbished bathroom or shower conversion.
And, in my opinion PVC cladding is infinitely better suited to ceilings than walls (see my page on Wall Tiles vs PVC Wall Cladding)
